MET courses

The MET courses are aimed at teachers, educators and trainers who wish to become facilitators of mindful and effective learning processes and at the same time nurture their passion and motivation and preserve their psycho-physical well-being. In the courses you will work on presence and awareness, on the regulation of emotions, on the ability to listen and accept, on the use of teaching and training strategies. The MET courses, individual and group, intervene on all these aspects simultaneously through a course structured in 12 modules.

Structure of the MET courses

MEL training format

The first module is dedicated to the creation of a welcoming and comfortable space in the group and to the presentation of the main topics covered in the course.

The second module works on the awareness of the Self and of what surrounds us. This awareness is developed through mindfulness meditation practices.

The third module works on the development of “teaching presence”. It is a matter of cultivating the ability to be present in the moment by being able to observe what emerges moment by moment inside and outside of oneself.

The fourth module works on “active listening” which is a way of listening to the other in a non-judgmental welcoming space.

The fifth module works on the ability to formulate “powerful questions”, questions that promote the student’s awareness and creativity.

The sixth module works on emotions and the regulation of emotions.

The seventh module works on motivation and passion for teaching.

The eighth module works on one’s psychological well-being.

After working on the aspects of “being”, the following three modules are dedicated to “doing”. Topics will be: effective teaching strategies and techniques, the ability to establish sustainable rules and to know how to enforce them, the acquisition of educational tools such as software platforms and video lessons.

The last module concludes the course, focusing on the advantages and benefits of the course.
